Monthly Meetings 2025

All meetings start at 7.30pm for a chat and mingle, before the evening’s main event begins at 8pm.

Most meetings will be held at the Woodhatch Centre, unless stated otherwise.

Dates and locations for the 2024 Plein Air Programme
All sessions start at 10.30am unless stated

Friday April 19th – Earlswood Lakes. Meet in main car park. May be a chance to try out our interpretation of swans!!!

Thursday 9 May Knepp (Dial Post – south of Horsham )– All Day Special.

Knepp is a re wilding centre with many creatures but they wander around in a huge area so no guarantee of seeing them too near to the café area BUT they are having a special art exhibition representing resident artists work re: Knepp AND there is a Watercolour workshop on offer in the afternoon on that day with Tom Shepherd.£48 “Quick Watercolour Wildlife” Undoubtedly really popular so book asap if interested.

The plan will be to meet in the super café at 10.30am visit the exhibition then Lunch Afterwards, either follow the trails armed with sketchbooks & cameras etc maybe down to the pond areas or wherever or join the afternoon workshop.

Friday June 28th The Old Rectory Bletchingley £10 in cash Really we all go for the fabulous cake & coffee but also always something of interesting to paint / sketch

Wednesday July 17 Buckland Meet outside the shop or you may have to park by the pond. You have the pond, the church ,or a variety of interesting building to paint/ draw. A wander down the lane also reveals a wealth of material By arrangement with the shop, we can have coffee after in the garden & use their staff loos.

Monday August 12th Brockham Green Doesn’t need any introduction , masses to draw or if wanting a river scene it’s a short wander to the riverbank.

Sept ( Date to be confirmed) Bletchingley Village meet at Bletchingley Village Hall St Mary’s Church & some interesting shops & cottages A very good tea room nearby!
